We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager with a big front of house character to help run the pub alongside the Manager.
You won't carry the full weight of responsibility but you’ll be helping to run a substantial business andwill be the manager's right-hand person - making decisions and directing things on a daily basis.
The role is very hands-on and extremely varied encompassing people management, food and drink, customer service, pub maintenance and day to day financial administration.
As well as helping to select wines and beers, you’ll join in with menu development with the chef team and above all, be recognised as a natural, charismatic and friendly host who genuinely enjoys looking after people and providing great service.
We need someone who has a real eye for the detail together with management experience in a similar pub or restaurant environment. You’ll need to have a real passion for and sound knowledge of quality food and menu development, cask ales and beers, wines and spirits.
