Chef de Partie - Horley, Surrey
We are looking for experienced Chefs de Partie and Senior Chefs de Partie to join the crew at The Fox Revived, near Horley, which we’re very excited to have as the latest addition to the Brunning & Price family of pub restaurants.
We’re currently in the process of a substantial tip to toe renovation to restore this lovely country pub to its former splendour and we plan to re-open late Autumn 2016 as a traditional freehold pub restaurant with a purpose-built kitchen equipped to the highest standard.
We're looking to get our kitchen crew on board sooner rather than later for training at our other pubs, so you can hit the ground running when we open.
Our Chefs de Partie undertake key roles in the kitchen and we’re looking for people with good cooking skills and experience of working in a busy, fresh food environment.
You’ll have the opportunity to gain experience working across all areas of the kitchen and will generally be given responsibility to look after a particular section with the help of other chefs. On a daily basis you’ll be supporting the Sous Chefs and Head Chef in a range of duties including fresh food preparation and cooking as well as undertaking kitchen management duties including ordering, stock control and ensuring food safety and cleaning standards are met.
As part of the team, you’ll help develop seasonal menus with a spine of freshly prepared, classic British dishes, complemented by more exotic influences from other parts of the world – in other words, modern British cookery.

The potential here is enormous and we’re looking for ambitious, creative and committed chefs with a passion for good food who are ready to take the next step in their career. Depending on your experience, as a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie, we’ll reward you with a starting salary package from £18,000 - £22,000 per annum.
