We are looking for a Chef de Partie with excellent cooking skills, experience in helping to set and achieve GP percentages and the ability to manage high volumes with the right standards of quality and consistency.  

This will be a vital role in the pub and is an excellent stepping stone on the road to a rewarding career with an expanding company.

 The potential here is enormous and we’re looking for an ambitious and committed chef with a passion for good food who is ready to take the next step in his or her career. We provide all our chefs with real opportunities to develop with us into a senior chef role with training and support in place for you along the way.

The Nevill Crest & Gun is a building with over 500 years of history that has been lovingly converted to an immensely characterful pub restaurant.  Inside is relaxed and cosy, with good old furniture, open fires, and a friendly, chatty atmosphere. 

Our menu has a spine of freshly prepared, classic British dishes, complemented by more exotic influences from other parts of the world: in other words, modern British cookery. Our passion lies in finding quality ingredients and preparing, cooking and presenting them in a modern but unpretentious way. 

Depending on your experience, we’ll reward you with a salary up to £20,000 per annum plus tips and company benefits and you’ll be part of a successful, growing company who have been awarded Pub Group of the Year on five occasions.
