As a Sous Chef at Sticks’n’Sushi, you’re the one that is heard in a kitchen where everybody wants a say. You have to lead and set the rhythm when the music is playing and the guests are ordering. You can look everyone in the eye and have high spirits, lots of energy and a great head for business, which makes it obvious for everyone that you are in command.
You will support the Head Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen. Must have high knowledge of food-safety. Help train & develop all chefs. Experience within a Japanese kitchen is a plus but not a must. Level headed, with a hands-on approach. We have chefs from all over the world so your English skills must be good in order to understand and be understood within the team.
Salary package will be dependent on experience and technical skills, with flexible start dates and locations.
