Head Pastry Chef required to join the team at this Superb Country House Hotel with award winning restaurant. The Head Chef is looking for somebody with a stable proven background in busy 4 or 5 star hotels.
This Busy County House Hotel is looking for a Head Pastry Chef to lead the Pastry team of 3 serving a high volume of weddings with a mix of mid-week corporate, afternoon teas, private dining, Brasserie Food & Superb Fine Dining for their 2 rosette restaurant.
The Head Chef is looking for an Industry professional capable of leading and inspiring the pastry team. As this is a senior position, my client is looking for somebody with previous experience in a similar role.
We are looking for a talented Pastry Chef who is passionate for their craft, keen to surpass customer expectations on a daily basis and keen to develop new skills.
As Head Pastry Chef your involvement and input is crucial and the Head Chef is looking for a candidate that is looking to be totally involved with the smooth running of the pastry kitchen contributing with menu ideas for the Fine Dining Restaurant that enhance the ‘offering’ of the hotel using fresh ingredients including many especially sourced local seasonal ingredients.
As Head Pastry Chef You will be able to communicate very well and build good working relationships with your new colleagues including Directors, General Manager, Head Chef and other HOD’s whilst motivating your team and inspiring others to develop and succeed.
Live in is available but this position would also suit someone living in the Uckfield, Lewes, Hayward Heath, East Grinstead, Royal Tunbridge Wells and possibly Crawley areas with their own transport.
Salary of upto £25,000 (depending upon experience)
