Head Chef / Kitchen Manager required for this group owned restaurant with an exciting branded menu featuring a fast paced family friendly grill menu and tasty pub classics and a popular roast on Sundays
This position would suit somebody looking for a fresh challenge ideally with previous experience of working in a group owned Hotel or Restaurant; the Restaurant has a plenty of scope to increase revenue allowing you to make your mark and has a small team that needs a leader
As Head Chef you will be responsible the day to day running of your kitchen and everything that goes with that from organising rotas, organising prep lists, ordering supplies ensuring the hygiene records are fully maintained and the kitchen is making the correct profit and food standards are maintained.
This is a hands on role and you will be involved in service every day, part of your duties will include training and motivating your team ensuring their on-going training is completed.
There is no live in for this position so candidates need to live in Oxford, Bicester, Abingdon or possibly the Witney area with their own transport if required.
The restaurant is part of a major national group and offers a wide range of courses that are available for all employees to take part in if they wish to develop a wide range of skills and gain further promotion in the future.
Excellent Salary of upto £26,000 per year
