ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Head Office IT Team in the newly developed role of IT Quality Assurance Technical Lead. 
With the continued adoption of digital applications and solutions this role is an amazing opportunity to define enterprise quality assurance strategies by developing the enterprise vision around testing, including: functionality testing, performance testing, load testing, test plans and automation.
You will work with the Business and IT to enable QA for projects under the Digital Road Map (DRM) Programme as well as Business As Usual (BAU) across different technology platforms, e.g. Websites, Databases, Services and Integration points.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required as you will liaise with stakeholders at all levels across the business and present results for all testing to them. Experience of full test development lifecycle through both Waterfall & Agile project methodologies is required.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate use of testing tools such as Quality Center, Swagger, SQL scripts, Jira etc. Demonstrable experience of performance testing tools are also required, such as Site Confidence and Load Runner.
Experience of partnering and managing on-shore and off-shore testers is required. 
HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4 week period. Normal Head Office working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, however flexibility may be required. 
ABOUT YOU
Essential requirements:
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Software QA role - Test Lead or Test Developer
  • ISTQB certified or equivalent qualification
  • Proven management of the complete QA lifecycle - Strategy, Scenario Planning, Test Case Development and Execution across different technology platforms (Websites, Databases, Services and Integration points)
  • Demonstrated use of Testing Tools such as Quality Center, Swagger, SQL scripts, Jira, etc.
  • Demonstrated use of Performance Testing Tools such as Site Confidence and Load Runner, etc.
  • Experience of partnering and managing on-shore and off-shore testers as needed
  • Proactive self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills to work within a team
  • Excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
  • Experience of full test development lifecycle through both Waterfall & Agile project methodologies 
Desirable requirements:
  • Experience of presenting results for all testing to stakeholders at all levels
  • Prior work experience in Hospitality and/or Travel Industry
