Right now, we are looking for a Full Time Beauty Manager to join the team at Brondesbury Park.

About the Role

Reporting to the Deputy General Manager you will have responsibility and accountability for a new Beauty offering within the Club. You will be required to facilitate the smooth running of the spa, ensure monthly targets are achieved, undertake treatments, promote the spa internally within the Club and externally and deliver a high level of service to customers.

You will be responsible for the continual improvement of site standards. You will also be a role model for responsible and appropriate conduct for all team members.

The role does have a commission structure, this can be discussed further at interview stage.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

* Deliver and exceed all revenue targets for treatment and retail sales
* Promote sales of additional treatments
* Promote sales of retail products for home use
* To carry out effective sales activity, as directed by spa manager, to increase revenue and client base
* To rebook clients after every treatment
* Undertake treatments in the manner prescribed by the spa manager, and in accordance with Spa's product list and rationale.
* Give professional advice on beauty and associated matters
* Ensure that all members and clients receive the highest standards of customer service.
* Continually look for opportunities to add "additional touches" to your clients' experiences.
* Operate the departmental till system and take and process payments for treatments and products
* Cover the reception desk and take telephone bookings and enquiries in the absence of the Beauty Receptionist
* Ensure that all client record cards are continually updated and client enquires are followed up within 24 hours.
* Adhere to the core values at all times
* Maintain and exceed brand standards throughout the treatment rooms, shop floor, back of house and reception areas
* Investigate, document and communicate local competitor activity on a monthly basis.
* Ensure that stock is used efficiently during treatments and minimise wastage.
* Check stock levels and advise the spa manager of any requirements
* Ensure that all professional and retail stock is secure at all times.
* To carry out stock counts and do stock ordering when necessary.
* Be full aware of all marketing activity within the spa and actively promote it to clients.
* Attend and assist in internal and external promotions and events.
* Communicate effectively with other members of your team and with other departments.
* Attend scheduled meeting and training sessions
* Treat your work colleagues with courtesy and respect at all times.
* As a team player operate with integrity and honesty and promote this ethos within your team at all times.
* Maintain the highest level of personal appearance at all times
* To monitor treatment room standards, therapy and customer service standards, product sale and rebooking figures, appearance and timekeeping.
* To provide general support to the Therapist team, giving advice and motivation, and conveying information when necessary between the Therapists and the Management team.
* To help other team members with their duties as and when necessary, to ensure the smooth running of the operation.

Skills/Experience required

* Beauty Therapy qualification to NVQ level 3 or equivalent;
* Qualifications demonstrating wider interest in health and beauty:
* Waxing, Eye Treatments, Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, and Nail Treatments

Previous Experience and Knowledge

* Practical experience delivering treatments
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Previous retail experience with a proven sales record
* Previous experience working with a professional brand
* CIDESCO/ CIBTAC qualification highly desirable. Preferably in the leisure industry
