Community Pub Manager - Arrow The Forum, Yeovil
Community Pub Manager
Arrow The Forum
Our community pubs are famous for their commitment to being at the heart of the local community. Each pub has an offer developed with its customers in mind, whether that’s a great food menu, an exciting range of drinks, regular events or live sports. Our community pubs focus on the needs of local people, ensuring they have a great experience every time they visit.
The Arrow is a large established community pub situated within the Abbey Manor shopping complex in the Brimshaw area of Yeovil. It offers our Urban company food menu.
Trading Area and Private Accommodation
The Arrow has a large L shaped bar which accommodates the carvery deck as well as a wide range of ales and lagers. The pub is well zoned with an area set for casual dining, for families, a conservatory and a more drink-led area with three pool tables and a games section. There are two outside spaces; a patio with around twenty covers and a turfed wall garden with a further thirty covers.
The private accommodation comprises a kitchen, a bathroom, an office, a living room and two bedrooms, all of which are in good order.
Local Area and Customer Base
The Arrow is set in a small shopping complex in a large residential area. The housing surrounding the pub is largely privately owned and there is further development of several hundred homes ongoing within the locality.
The pub is popular with the local community and attracts a diverse range of customers. Afternoons are popular with older clientele and young families whilst evenings see families visiting for food and drink. Groups of fans frequent the pub for the live sports and when Yeovil play at home the Arrow is full of football fans from both teams.
The Arrow is currently trading at £25,000-£30,000 sales per week with a70/30 wet/dry split. There is the potential to develop the food offer further and bring in more monthly live entertainment.
