The Juggs in Lewes is looking for an aspiring commis chef that wants to carve out their career in the kitchen to join our team.
 
Part of the Shepherd Neame group of fifty four managed houses in London and the South East the Juggs is a traditional English pub with a great outdoor area set just minutes from the foot of the South Downs. We are a busy and very seasonal food led site that deals in very high volume covers during the summer months.

Requirements:

  • Proven education or work based experience within a busy Kitchen.
  • The desire to be part of a dynamic kitchen team and to learn new culinary skills.
  • Passion, enthusiasm and creativity in the kitchen.
  • The ability to practice and adhere to strict food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
  • You must be able to work under pressure in a fast paced and busy environment.
  • You must be flexible in terms of the working hours required of you.
