Purpose of role

To be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Children activity programmes and the team.

To manage the ongoing Children Activities administrative duties including budgets and reports.

To be responsible for further development and the promotion of the Children Activities concept offered to both members and other employees.

Must have:

Must hold a childcare qualification to at least level 3 standard (Oftsed Requirement)

Experience of working within a child sporting / play environment.

Must have strong interpersonal abilities and be approachable to members and their children.

Desirable:

A good understanding of innovative concepts in children’s activities.

Will ideally have 1 year’s experience of managing a childcare facility.

Any sports coaching experience.

This position will require the applicant undertaking / having undertaken recently a Disclosure check by the Criminal Records Bureau.
