Position: Head of Spa Operations - Farnham/International
Location:  - United Kingdom

Role Overview

Within this role you will drive and lead the ongoing management and financial direction of each project.  You will be accountable for the complete viability of the Spa whilst ensuring that the highest standards are adhered to.  You will work closely with the Hotel General Manager and Spa Director and regularly review key objectives, operating criteria, programming, budgeting, staff relations and training.

Role Responsibilities

  • To assume responsibility for the overall performance of each project within the ESPA Portfolio. 
  • Support the ongoing strategic plan for each Spa, covering financial, marketing, personnel and training to establish the business. 
  • To interact with key personnel at each hotel to ensure the Spa receives profile, action and focus as required.
  • To provide leadership, direction and support to the employees at the Spa to develop a highly motivated team, who can deliver high standards of service in all areas.
  • To monitor standards of performance and member satisfaction and introduce measures to ensure the highest standards of quality and service.
  • To establish ESPA standards of operation, ensuring that ESPA branding is strongly and appropriately represented.   

Requirements

  • This role requires extensive experience at senior level within a 5 star Spa environment or similar.
  • Proven ability of understanding, monitoring and influencing multiple site business performance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and to develop sustainable relationships.
  • Experienced man manager with demonstrable skills as a leader, motivator and communicator.
  • Knowledge of all Spa operational areas, preferably having direct first hand experience.
  • Ability to work both reactively and proactively, as well as be an effective time manager with the ability to prioritise your workload.
  • Flexibility to travel and stay away from home for extended periods as and when required.
