Freedom leisure are a not for profit leisure trust operating 14 leisure sites across Sussex.

As a not for profit trust we have no share holders to pay and surplus income is reinvested directly into the leisure centres to provide improved facilities for the community.

Since the trust started in April 2002 over £4,500,000 has been spent in developing and improving the leisure centres in the freedom leisure group.

We work in partnership with Wealden District Council, Hastings Borough Council, Rother District Council and East Sussex County Council to deliver leisure services that cater for everyone regardless of age or ability.

We have obtained the Quest accreditation in five of our leisure centres with a further six sites being assessed by the end of 2006. Quest measures service standards and quality within the leisure centre industry.
