Our client is located in the centre of Edinburgh and within a private health and leisure club. The facilities are second to none and there is a real sense of community within the club; extremely friendly.

The salon situated within the health club is now looking to recruit a salon manager who is able and experienced to man manage a small team within this perfectly formulated and recently renovated space.

There are 4 treatment rooms and the clientele are quite affluent therefore should have disposable income to spend.

We are looking for someone who is perhaps looking for the next challenge in their careers and is possibly an assistant manager at the moment. Alternatively, this would suit an existing manager however you must have exceptionally high standards of work ethic and be immaculate in your own personal presentation.

We would like to see evidence that you have led a team and retained them over a period of time as well as ways in which you would motivate your team to retail and sell treatment space. You will be given commission on achieving the set monthly targets therefore you must have a good and solid understanding of working to targets and revenue lines.

Previous experience of stock taking and ordering and generally being self sufficient is imperative so we need to see experience in opening and closing, cashing up, banking as well as being able to provide on-going training for your team.
